Is Volume 16 going to be the start of a new arc or the end of this arc? And I wonder what it's going to be about. Ikki is well above average in intelligence from what I've seen so he can probably sniff out the BS and be able to see through the subtleties if he cared to, Perfect Vision or not. Now are you trying to say that Ikki may be able to use Perfect Vision to play politics or be able to see through the subtleties of politics? Because the latter really just has to do with being a good BS detector. Now while those skills can he gained can extend to other areas unrelated to combat, it really doesn't mean they're designed for those areas.
He developed those skills like Perfect Vision, for example, to be able to go toe-to-toe against mages and to be one of the strongest. Ikki mainly developed those skills out of neccesity due to him barely being able to call himself a Blazer. And he also is able to grasp the weakness of opponents and see through their every move using Perfect Visionīut while Ikki is very intelligent, we have no idea if his Perfect Vision extends to the realm of politics. He can also grasp most fighting styles and understands basically every sword style to the deepest level. Like an extreme version of Suzaku from Code Geass. Ikki's very intelligent but can we say his intelligence extends to the realm of politics? He is very intelligent with the use of his body and all of its functions. We really can't say Ikki's Perfect Vision will extend to something like that as that would be kind of a stretch for the author. Well that takes a different kind of intelligence. I'm curious if Ikki's Perfect Vision will play a role in him playing politics.
